Bank holidays for Diwali usually start from 31 October. But in many states, banks will remain closed on 1 November as well. October 30, 2024: Banks will remain closed in many states due to Narak Chaturdashi / Chhoti Diwali.

October 31, 2024: Banks will remain closed in many states on the occasion of Diwali (Deepawali).

November 2, 2024: Banks will remain closed in many states due to Govardhan Puja.

November 3, 2024: Banks will remain closed in all states due to Sunday.

When are the bank holidays in which states?

October 31: Banks will remain closed in Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and other states.

November 1: Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Sikkim, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura and Uttarakhand.

November 2: Banks will remain closed in Rajasthan, Sikkim, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
