UP Board Compartment Exam 2025: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the process of online application for compartment and improvement examinations of High School and Intermediate for the year 2025. Interested students can apply on the official website of UP Board from 19 May to 10 June 2025 at noon.
Under the improvement examination, candidates can appear for the examination of only that one subject in which they have failed. In the compartment examination, students will be eligible to appear for the examination in any one of their two failed subjects. The fee for this level examination has been fixed at Rs 256. Only compartmental examination will be conducted. Students of Humanities, Science, and Commerce classes can appear in the examination of any one failed subject.
In the Agriculture class, examination of any one question paper of Part-1 or Part-2 can be given. Students pursuing vocational education can appear for the examination of any one question paper of their trade subject. The fee for the intermediate compartment examination has been fixed at Rs 306.
Application process and fee payment
Candidates will have to deposit the prescribed fee in the treasury through a challan. It is mandatory to send the original copy of the challan and the hard copy of the online application by registered post to the concerned regional office within 3 working days after June 10.

01 – General Education
102 – Secondary Education
02 – Fee for Board Examinations
09 – Compartment and Improvement Examination and Marks Fee
At both high school and intermediate levels, if the candidates fail in both the written and practical parts of a subject, then they will have to appear for the examination of both parts. If they fail in one part and pass in the other, then they can choose to appear for the examination again only in the failed part or in both parts.
