Candidates who are preparing for the (BSSC CGL-2025) exam can apply for this Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination. Through this competitive examination, the Commission will recruit the posts of Assistant Branch Officer, Planning Assistant, Junior Statistical Assistant, Data Entry Operator Grade-C, and Audit.
Essential Qualification
To appear in this competitive exam, candidates should have done a graduation in Mathematics or Economics, Commerce, etc., from any recognized institute in India.
Age Limit
The minimum age of the candidates to apply is 21 years. Apart from this, the maximum age of the candidates has been fixed according to the post. The maximum age of the general category candidates is 37 years, the age of OBC male and female candidates and general female category candidates is 40 years, and the age of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates is 42 years.
Selection will be done like this.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of preliminary examination and the main examination. In the preliminary examination, candidates will be asked 150 multiple-choice type questions from General Studies, General Science, Mathematics and Mental Ability Test subjects. The duration of the examination has been fixed at 2 hours 15 minutes, in which four marks will be given for each correct answer and a negative marking of one mark will be done for each wrong answer. Candidates who are successful in this examination will be called for the main examination.
Exam Fee
Candidates will also have to pay the exam fee. The exam fee for general and OBC candidates is Rs 540, for SC/ST candidates of Bihar state, all categories of Divyang and all categories of women, the exam fee is Rs 135.
