Top Tech: Best early Black Friday deals from Virgin Media, Apple, Samsung, Dyson and more

With November just days away, that means we’re nearing the peak shopping period for 2024 as the sales are just around the corner. This year, Black Friday falls on November 29, with shoppers able to bag a bargain from countless retailers across the weekend until Cyber Monday on December 2.

But you don’t have to wait for the sales to get a great deal, as some big brands have kicked things off early. In this edition of our series, we’ve pulled together some of the best deals ahead of Black Friday including free gadgets and discounted iPhones from and

Virgin Media

Virgin Media has just launched a flash offer giving away a worth £399 or a with select TV and broadband bundles. Virgin’s plans include a choice of Sky Sports, Sky Cinema, Netflix and superfast fibre broadband, but you’ll have to be quick to get the deal before it ends at 11.59pm on Wednesday, October 30.

You can claim the free eufy RoboVac or £200 by signing up to one of these four 18-month plans: the Bigger Combo bundle + Movies, Bigger Combo bundle + Sports HD, Biggest Combo bundle or Mega Volt bundle. Prices start at £60.99 a month for the , which includes more than 200 TV channels, Sky Cinema, a free Netflix subscription and 132Mbps fibre broadband.

Sports fans may want to opt for the as this swaps out Sky Cinema for eight Sky Sports channels including Main Event, Premier League and F1, plus faster broadband with speeds up to 516Mbps. Alternatively, Virgin’s rolls both of these plans into one, with more than 230 channels, including both Sky Sports and Sky Cinema, plus a Netflix subscription.

This is the most pricey Virgin plan at £84.99, but you get a lot of bang for your buck as it also includes Virgin’s ultra-fast Gigabit broadband with speeds up to 1,130Mbps and an O2 SIM card with unlimited 5G data – plus data roaming in 75 destinations at no extra cost. Virgin Media has launched a dedicated Black Friday area of its website , which will be updated once its deals are live.

Sky

Sky’s latest deals have just come to an end, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a great value TV or broadband plan. The provider regularly refreshes its prices with new promotions, with its bundle now available for £26 a month – or £29 on a monthly rolling plan.

There’s never been a better time to join Sky, as it’s home to some epic new and upcoming shows that are not to be missed. Batman spin-off The Penguin is airing now and has racked up stellar reviews, while sci-fi prequel Dune: Prophecy and new The Day of the Jackal series are coming in November.

On top of this, includes a subscription to Netflix’s Standard with adverts plan at no extra cost, so you can catch the second season of Squid Game when it lands on December 26. Netflix normally costs £4.99 a month, so you’re effectively paying £21.01 for more than 100 extra channels like Sky Atlantic, Sky Documentaries and Comedy Central.

While Sky is yet to reveal its plans for Black Friday, last year’s sale saw this plan reduced to £19 a month, so we’d expect a similar deal this time around. There’s also likely to be discounts on , which is already on offer at £14 a month for the first three months and comes with Sky’s own 4K QLED smart TV.

If you’re in the market for a new smartphone, is also offering some cracking deals. The retailer is currently offering the new for £38.99 a month and £9 up front for the 128GB model.

This is a 24-month contract on iD Mobile that includes 500GB data and unlimited minutes and texts, plus a . While this is the most eye-catching plan at time of writing, iPhone 16 plans start from £24.99 a month if you’re happy to pay more up front, which works out cheaper over the life of the plan.

If Samsung is more your thing, Mobiles.co.uk is also giving away a to customers who buy any contract or SIM-free purchase of the . We’ve already covered this in our round-up, but believe it’s still worth shouting about.

A Galaxy Watch FE normally costs £199 when buying directly from , but shoppers get one for free until October 31. The Galaxy S24 FE was released earlier this year as a budget-friendly alternative to the standard S24, which comes in a choice of blue, graphite, grey and mint, with storage of 128GB or 256GB.

Shoppers can get the phone along with a free Galaxy Watch FE with any 24-month plan on iD Mobile, including the , which comes with unlimited calls and texts for £25.99 a month and £9 up front. For those with larger data needs, iD also offers a for £23.99 a month and £79 up front.

iD Mobile’s S24 FE plans start at £14.99 a month if you’re looking to keep monthly costs down, but bear in mind these plans will have higher upfront costs. Mobiles.co.uk has also unveiled its Black Friday landing page , so check back once the sales start.

Dyson

Dyson is already offering big discounts as part of its , with up to £150 off its range of vacuum cleaners and air purifying heaters. Arguably its most eye-catching deal is on the , which has seen a price drop from £399.99 to £249.99.

The cordless vacuum cleaner is ideal for homes with pets as it detangles hair as it cleans, whether on soft or hard surfaces. It also includes a range of tools so you can clean hard-to-reach places or take it out to clean in the car.

There’s also £100 off the . This versatile gadget can heat your home in the winter and keep you cool in summer, as well as purifying the air by capturing 99.95% of particles.

The purifier is usually priced at £549.99, but Dyson has reduced it down to £449.99. When Dyson’s Black Friday sale starts, the deals will be available on its dedicated sale page .

Debenhams

Last up is Debenhams, which is in the midst of a huge autumn sale. The retailer has already launched its Black Friday landing page , but until then, there’s some massive discounts up for grabs across its .

Shoppers can currently save up to 70% on a raft of tech including soundbars and air fryers. The is now £70 off at £129.99 and also comes with a free mystery gift worth £15. There’s also this mega – perfect for enjoying big screen blockbusters over Christmas – for £59.29, down from £222.

Debenhams has also slashed hundreds off a range of air fryers, like the is a whopping £151 off at £48.99. But if you’re dreading the looming winter, investing in an electric heater is a great way to save on heating bills, as well as a big discount.
