This Morning star makes huge career move away from ITV show as they announce new project

Fans of This Morning's stylish segment take note: Gok Wan is radiating with anticipation as he gears up to sprinkle his charm on the radio waves, after spending a decade on the morning programme.

The image consultant has been a regular face on since 2014 but, from January 27, 2025, will dazzle as the new host of Magic Breakfast alongside , and the station shared the news through an enthusiastic post over social media this Wednesday, October 30.

"Say hello to the new co-host of Magic Breakfast! @therealgokwan and @harrietscott_ will be waking you up on your weekday mornings from 27th January. We can't wait to see these two on air together every morning", the post reads, alongside two snaps of Gok Wan alongside his future co-host Harriet.

In a delightful shift for the sartorial wizard and talented author, 50 year old Gok is stepping into the shoes left by , who to spend more time with his loved ones.

Embedded in the enchanting twirl of the Twitterverse, the announcement accompanies a picture captioned: "Say hello to the new co-host of Magic Breakfast! @therealgokwan and @harrietscott_ will be waking you up on your weekday mornings from 27th January. We can't wait to see these two on air together every morning", reports .

The fashion maestro and presenter shared his own slice of jubilation about the upcoming gig, declaring: "I am beyond excited to be joining the Magic Breakfast team. I have loved working with the crew and of course getting to know our fabulous listeners."

Gok, seemingly unfazed by early starts, added with zest: "I have truly fallen in love with radio, and I don't even mind the early mornings, I'm an early riser anyway!" He also promised a generous dose of joy, urging listeners: "We are going to have a brilliant time, and I want you all to join us in the daily fun. Harriet is a wonderful co-host, and I can't wait for our Magic to happen! ".

Harriet chimed in with excitement: "I know that our listeners are going to love spending their mornings with Gok just as much as I do. We're all going to have some adventures together in 2025 and I can't wait! ". This comes after 's Ronan Keating his cherished position at the well-loved radio station. Speaking directly to his audience on air, the father of three shared: "It's been very difficult for me to come to this conclusion, and to make this decision."
