Strictly Come Dancing's latest axe has fallen, with the elimination news from Halloween Week prematurely spilling out ahead of Sunday's results show (October 27).
Although the dreaded dance-off result, recorded right after the live show on Saturday (October 26), is meant to be under wraps until the following evening, it has once again been leaked.
Fans have known since Saturday nights in 2012 that despite BBC's valiant attempts to keep the booting off the books for a day, the ousted couples nearly always end up surfacing online.
True to form, the name of this week's eliminated duo was disclosed, but Express.co.uk took the higher road and chose not to reveal which celebs were shown the door.
The spillage of spoilers left some viewers gutted with their reactions plastered online: "I'm actually shocked," voiced one person, while another posted: "Surprising elimination, can't wait for next week's performances!" Another simply expressed, "I'm so sad", reports .
On the flip side, there were those who felt justice had been served on the dance floor. A cheering fan commented: "Yessssssss buzzing right result."
Reflecting on last weekend's exit, we waved goodbye to Paul Merson along with his graceful glide partner Karen Hauer after they couldn't escape the bottom two cul-de-sac, and with Paul propping up the leaderboard, their last waltz didn't exactly take viewers by surprise.
Scoring a thriller in Halloween Week, Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola shared the top spot with ' . Chris McCausland and Dr Puna Krishan found themselves at the lower end of the leaderboard, managing to rack up just 26 points out of a possible 40.
The eerie event had viewers flocking to to voice their grievances, claiming Wynne Evans and Katya Jones were 'overmarked' with a score of 31 points. Dressed in devilish attire, the duo delivered a sizzling Salsa number, with Wynne embracing a hellish alter-ego.
One viewer vented on Twitter: "How does Wynne get overmarked every single week!? That salsa was awful - very messy and the little actual salsa there was, the technique was poor - and he got 8s!? #strictly."
Another chimed in with criticism: "Just like Wynne Tash is always overmarked - my opinion of course - I can't take to either of them #Strictly."
Strictly Come Dancing will air this evening at 19:20 on BBC One.
