A new Netflix film 'with Jumanji vibes' has left viewers 'laughing like mad' just days after being added to the streaming service.

Family Pack was released on the platform last week and has already entered the top 10 for most watched films on the entire service amongst subscribers.

The adventure movie is being praised for its similarity with the cult classic Jumanji, starring Robin Williams with its premise focusing on a family playing a board game before being transported into a fantasy .

A film that is already being praised as fun for the whole family, meaning it could be the perfect watch this half-term is based on the French board game. The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow.

According to the synopsis by , after dusting off an old board game, one family is transported to the year 1497.

It's not long before they realise that they have become players in an all-too-real game of Werewolf where they must protect themselves from the creatures in the village.

They have no choice but to play the game they’re now living within — one that gives them each special powers and requires them to hunt the werewolves that descend upon the town each night.

Co-written by Francioi Uzan who also penned the series Netflix Lupin, the film also stars Jean Reno.

Viewers who have already streamed Family Pack have been taking to social media to share their thoughts and reactions.

One declared that the film gave off 'Jumanji vibes' and praised the father-son relationship shown in the story.

Another viewer praised the comedy, saying: "If you are looking for a good comedy on Netflix, watch Family Pack. I’m laughing like mad here."

Another fan posted on X, formerly , after watching the film and said: "Family Pack is a legitimately funny family comedy that's basically Jumanji with medieval werewolves.

"It's like watching a family work out their family issues through a werewolf themed DND campaign. I dug it." (sic)
