Katy Perry gifts pals an 'OzempiKP' syringe at 40th birthday weekender

Katy Perry clearly has a good sense of humour about speculation her recent weight loss - she even made light of it at her 40th birthday party.

The singer has faced many claims she could be taking a weight loss drug to stay so trim, similar to the diabetes treatment Ozempic.

whisked her closest friends away to Geneva for a 40s-themed bash, and dished out goodie bags which included a mini syringe (empty - no Semaglutide included) with “OzempiKP” written on it.

Katy’s epic bash saw guests including her fiance and Jeff Bezo’s wife Lauren Sanchez take over the Ritz Carlton in Geneva, where she flew her pals for a huge party.

So nobody got bored en route, she furnished them with personalised Monopoly Deal card games - which she carries around with her at all times - an obligatory bottle of Moet champagne, a 1940s-style newspaper article about her milestone birthday and some blue sweets.

She also branded empty syringes with OzempiKP, for a giggle. Katy also rented out the nearby Globe of Science and Innovation at Cern for her bash, which included a guided tour for her guests to learn a bit about the research centre, and her party-goers enjoyed boat rides in the Swiss city.

Earlier this year, she, taken up Orlando’s diet regime, but still treated herself to pasta once or twice a week.

Katy has shone a light on the tricks she's used to slash her weight by an impressive '20lbs' over the past few months. The singer, who's just unveiled her new album '143', suggests her diet especially includes munching on a classic breakfast staple - and it isn't porridge or pancakes.

Posting on, she unveiled it was actually hard boiled eggs while jokingly cracking one on her forehead. "I eat a lot of hard boiled eggs 'cause they're a great source of protein," she said. "But I don't crack them on this [plate] 'cause it takes too much time."
