“A wide sandy city beach that is clearly loved by locals and tourists alike,” wrote one visitor on TripAdvisor.
“There is plenty of space for children to play in the sand and the sea is perfect for paddling in medium size waves. If you go further out you can swim. Behind the beach is the wide pedestrianised promenade, which makes for a lovely walk. Overall this is one of the best city beaches I've visited.”
Tourists can also head into the city’s souk (the Arabic word for a bazaar or market) to shop for souvenirs or pick up some fresh local produce.
Due to its coastal location, Agadir has some incredible seafood dishes while tourists will also find classic Moroccan cuisine such as tagines and couscous.
If you’re keen to see some wildlife, then Crocoparc could be the perfect choice for your trip away. This park is the highest rated attraction in Agadir on TripAdvisor and is home to more than 300 crocodiles.
One reviewer wrote: “An awesome trip. The park is beautiful and clean. The crocs have plenty of space to swim and bask.”
