Emmerdale's Daisy Campbell teases dark scenes for Amelia ahead of Christmas exit

Amelia Spencer actress has teased her final storyline on , with "much more" to come.

Speaking exclusively to last month, the star hinted would continue for a long while yet. Amid rumours it will wrap up around time, Daisy teased to us this could be the case, amid the more recent news of her

of the soap after 13 years, while her exit storyline has yet to be confirmed amid her involvement with the Tom plot. Daisy spoke exclusively to The this week to confirm her exit, and that "it wasn't her choice".

Speaking to us ahead of this news though last month, she teased what was ahead for her character and the storyline that focuses on Tom and his wife. Amelia has yet to realise the danger she could be in, dating Tom who spent months abusing Belle before their split.

Recently we saw Belle report Tom to the police for domestic violence, but not everyone believes her. Amelia is supporting Tom, believing Belle is making the claims up due to the decline in her mental wellbeing.

But will Amelia figure out the truth before it's too late, and could she be in danger? While Daisy doesn't think Amelia could be harmed currently, she hinted things could take a turn in her relationship with Tom.

Hinting things could move past the current "stage" in Tom's behaviour towards Amelia, she told us last month: "I wouldn't say she's in danger, but keep watching because you never know. It's a soap, there's always twists and turns.

"For now she is under his wing unfortunately. I love working with James [Chase] but his character Tom has got her where he wants her. For now it's at the manipulation stage... we'll see where it goes, but keep watching because there's a lot more to come. There's so much."

Next week Amelia is left terrified as Tom loses it with her at the bonfire after drama with the Dingles. So might this be the moment she realises his true colours?

On the future of the plot, Daisy told us: "I don't think I can give anything away but it's good stuff. It goes on for quite a while. But we'll see what he tries to do with Amelia. It's exciting stuff for the character arc, I want her to team up with Belle."
