When they chatted about a second date, both seemed keen on meeting up again. However, their rendezvous was interrupted by the arrival of the whole family - the Shuttleworths and the Grimshaws, leading Theo to run out the back with no explanation.

He later text Todd and said he needed his jacket, before Todd sent the others on the way and let Theo back in. When he asked what the disappearing act was about, he said his family were not as accepting of things.
It's clear that Theo is hiding something. Spoilers released for next week tease that Theo tells Todd he wants to keep things low key between them because his life is complicated. Todd is puzzled when Theo goes cold on him again.
In new scenes, Theo goes to see Todd and apologises for his behaviour, but when Theo arrives at Shuttleworths to arrange a funeral, he's left even more shocked when he learns what Theo's hiding? Could he be someone else entirely?
Speaking about his character, James - who plays Theo - shared: "I think Theo is a good guy, he comes in with the best of intentions, as most people do, but he may upset some people with his behaviour.
"I had a line the other day where I said ‘I think I left my trousers in the bedroom’ so make of that what you will."
Discussing being in the soap, James admitted it is a "great honour". He shared: "I was very excited, a lot of my memories growing up as a young boy were settling down with my gran after tea, she’d make me a crumpet and we’d sit there and watch Corrie. I feel like it’s a great honour to be a part of something that’s brought joy to people for so long."
, who plays Todd, also opened up about the big storyline.
"You get this sense that Todd’s a little bit fed up with the dating game. He’s a bit fed up with the and the empty hookups. And actually he is looking, I think, for something a little more lasting," he said.
"I don’t think we should lose that villain either. I don’t know whether we call it villainy anymore with Todd, but certainly his ability to manipulate people –that hasn’t left him. It’s just that he has been in a period now where he’s really trying to be more open, be more genuine and he values his friendships and the people that he loves around him a bit more."
