Carabao Cup quarterfinal draw - ball numbers in full including Liverpool

Liverpool still has work to do to secure its place in the Carabao Cup quarterfinal draw, but at the Amex Stadium on Wednesday, .

The draw will take place following the conclusion of Wednesday's six games. Only one non- club is in action tonight - Championship side Preston hosting - with the other five matches all being contested between top-flight sides.

As well as Liverpool taking on Brighton, Tottenham is hosting Manchester City, Newcastle is hosting Chelsea, Manchester United is taking on Leicester, and Aston Villa is facing Crystal Palace.

Two teams booked their place in the quarterfinal draw on Tuesday, with Brentford overcoming Sheffield Wednesday in a penalty shoot-out, and Southampton beating Stoke 3-2.

Ahead of the quarter-final draw, here's a look at which ball numbers have been assigned to which teams...

  • Sky Sports’ Carabao Cup presenter Mark Chapman will host the draw alongside former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp and former Manchester City Women's forward Izzy Christiansen. The quarterfinal ties will take place week during the week commencing 16 December.

    Back to the game between Brighton and Liverpool, and Slot rung the changes against the South Coast club, with only three players keeping their place in the starting lineup from Sunday's draw at Arsenal.

    Andrew Robertson, Luis Diaz and Curtis Jones all lined up against Brighton, while Conor Bradley returned after missing a few games through injury, and Vitezslav Jaros made his first start for the Reds.

    In terms of injured absentees, Alisson, Harvey Elliott and Diogo Jota all remain sidelined, with Slot not expecting any of them to return before the international break. Federico Chiesa, who has barely figured since joining the Reds from Juventus, is also out.
