Arsenal look to have made plans for a huge transfer with exit claims over Leandro Trossard remaining. The Belgium international was strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia after Al Ittihad submitted an official loan proposal earlier this year in an attempt to sign him.
As football.london reported at the time, Since then, Trossard has struggled for form with his performance levels dipping ever since being sent off against Manchester City.
In the absence of Martin Odegaard, the 29-year-old has been deployed in a hybrid midfield role which has seen him often interchange with Kai Havertz. That tactical plan was implemented at St James' Park against Newcastle but it did not achieve the desired aim.
In a game of limited chances, the need for an elite-level attacker was clear and sporting director Edu may have found the player that can fill that void.
According to the Mirror, Arsenal are lining up a move for West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, valued in the region of £90million, as a potential replacement for Trossard. The Ghanaian was of interest to Arsenal and a whole host of other Premier League clubs when he was at Ajax, but it was the Hammers who won the race for his signature.
Kudus is currently serving a three-match suspension after being sent off for violent conduct against Arsenal's bitter rivals Tottenham. The 24-year-old scored the opening goal in that game, but his strike was in vein as Spurs hit four in response to comfortably win that London derby.

Though he prefers to play on the right, which is very much Bukayo Saka's position, Kudus is capable of playing on the opposite flank which is likely where he would be deployed. Trossard has been selected in that position before but it is often Gabriel Martinelli chosen to flank Kai Havertz off the left.
With that being said, When asked about Declan Rice's late opportunity against Newcastle, he told TNT Sports: "We had two [other] big chances, Mikel had a big one and Gabriel Martinelli had another big one."
That comes after specifically naming the 23-year-old for squandering a great chance just before Bournemouth scored in Arsenal's defeat on the south coast.
