Both Arsenal and Everton are being forced to deal with several injury concerns going into their Premier League meeting this weekend.

The Gunners will travel to Merseyside to face the Toffees at Goodison Park as they look to close the gap on leaders Liverpool in the table.

Arsenal are second in the standings and 12 points adrift of top spot with eight matches left to play.

Mikel Arteta was dealt a major injury blow in midweek when Gabriel Magalhaes suffered a hamstring injury in the win over Fulham at the Emirates Stadium.

The centre-back is now set to miss the rest of the season and will not be the only Arsenal star unavailable for the clash against Everton.

Jurrien Timber and Ben White are also doubts for the Gunners going into the weekend. Timber was withdrawn in the second half of the win over Fulham after undergoing treatment, while White missed the fixture altogether with a fitness concern.

Arteta stated that Timber and White have a "chance" of featuring against Everton on Saturday. Riccardo Calafiori , Kai Havertz , Gabriel Jesus and Takehiro Tomiyasu have already been ruled out of the clash against the Toffees.

For the opposition, Everton will also have some players on the sidelines through injury. One player who could return is Dwight McNeil, who has returned to training after missing the last four months with a knee injury.

However, Toffees boss David Moyes will be without Orel Mangala , Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Jesper Lindstrom , who are all sidelined with injuries.

Iliman Ndiaye is expected to be available, though, after making a return from a knee injury with a cameo appearance against Liverpool in midweek.
